The World Forestry Center Discovery Musuem is the ideal destination for any group. Most roups arrange programs 4-6 weeks in advance and reservations are required to receive discounts.
Trip Planning Basics for
DISCOVERY MUSEUM
- Teacher Preview Pass Complimentary pass available upon request.
- Funding for Bus Transportation Application. Funding for bus transportation is available for Oregon teachers from Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI).
- Most groups allow 90 minutes to 2 hours per visit.
- Lunchroom reservations available.
- Chaperone Guide. All visits are “self guiding” and children must be supervised by adults at all times in the Discovery Museum. Please print the for all chaperones.
- Many groups visit the Discovery Museum followed by short nature walk in the adjacent Hoyt Arboretum.
