World Forestry Center Awards Two Complimentary Venue Grants to Local Non-Profits

[PORTLAND, OREGON] World Forestry Center is pleased to announce the two non-profit organizations selected for our 2025 Complimentary Venue Grant Program: Portland Indigenous Marketplace and Loco Por La Aventura.

This is the fourth year for the World Forestry Center Venue Grant offering a local non-profit a complimentary rental of either Miller Hall, Cheatham Hall, or our Cheatham Hall/Plaza combination (up to a $4,750 value). Previous recipients include Children’s Healing Art Project, College Possible, Coalition of Communities of Color, Pacific Lamprey Conservation Initiative, Northwest Native American Chamber, and Business Diversity Institute.

Portland Indigenous Marketplace – The Portland Indigenous Marketplace supports Indigenous artists and entrepreneurs by providing barrier-free, culturally respectful spaces that encourage cultural resilience and economic sustainability by promoting public education through cultural arts. indigenousmarketplace.org/

Loco Por La Aventura – Loco Por La Aventura is a non-profit organization with the mission to inspire educational equity and engagement in outdoor activities for the Latino community. They are committed to motivate, promote educational fairness, and encourage active participation in outdoor pursuits tailored specifically for the Latino community. locoporlaaventura.com
