Arts at World Forestry Center

Where creativity meets the future of forests

At World Forestry Center, we use art as an entry point into the forestry conversation, inviting curiosity, emotion, and imagination to help people connect more deeply with the forests that shape our world. Through innovative programs, unconventional collaborations, and meaningful experiences, we are bringing people and forests together in ways that spark dialogue, amplify diverse voices, and inspire action for forest health.

We believe the future of our forests relies on creative and collaborative community action. This is a space for artists, scientists, and community members to grapple with ecological challenges, and design new possibilities together.

Art Exhibitions at the Discovery Museum

Rotating exhibitions feature contemporary artists whose work explores forests, climate, culture, and society's relationship to the natural world. These immersive installations invite reflection, conversation, and invite visitors to think deeper about the future of our forests.

Forest Sound Walks

Our free experimental immersive music series combines visionary contemporary musicians, sound ecologists, and foresters to create original sound works inspired by local trails.

Art Programs

Artist talks, workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on activities deepen each exhibition and performance. These programs invite you to bring your own questions and ideas about forest health into the conversation.

Performing Arts

From music and movement to spoken word and experimental performance, we are partnering with art organizations to create new  experiences that expand how people connect with our forests.
