Swanson. Guided by Bayles and Swanson, the students reflected on images of charred landscapes and the resilient signs of regrowth. Inspired by their experience, the students wrote original poetry while seated on the exhibit floor—poetry that later became the source text for composers Iman Habibi, Michael-Thomas Foumai, and Kirsten Volness. Their resulting oratorio for youth choir and small ensemble now stands as the heart of this moving program.u003c/pu003ennu003ch3u003eu003ca href=u0022https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?show=284584u0022u003eu003cstrongu003eu003cemu003ePurchase Tickets hereu003c/emu003eu003c/strongu003eu003c/au003eu003c/h3u003ennu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eROSTER:u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003en u003cliu003eSarah Tiedemann, fluteu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eRicky Smith, clarinetu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eLing-Ling Huang, violinu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eValdine Ritchie Mishkin, cellou003c/liu003en u003cliu003eChris Whyte, percu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eSusan DeWitt Smith, pianou003c/liu003enu003c/ulu003ennu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003ePROGRAM:u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003en u003cliu003eIman Habibi, Michael-Thomas Foumai, Kirsten Volness, New Work, title TBDu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eSarah Kirkland Snider, You Are Freeu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eKenji Bunch, Ralph's Old Recordsu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eDavid Lang, Sweet Airu003c/liu003en u003cliu003eYouth Choir pieces, hopefully including Jerod Tate, We Are the Stormu003c/liu003enu003c/ulu003en
